My Work
In high school, my guidance counselor, Mrs. McCall, saw a creative and entrepreneurial spirit in me. She suggested a trade program that allowed me to attend Cosmetology school for High School credits. I was licensed and working in a salon at seventeen and off I went! This opportunity set me up for the rest of my life, allowing me to work in a creative and innovative environment for over two decades! There was a short stint where I ventured off to art school. I learned about graphic design and business management, which have enabled new adventures.
MEME's, T-shirt designs, logos, websites, and more! I LOVE creating! My favorite design right now is this very website!! I am happy to announce that I am available for hire and am so happy to share a small amount of my work with you below. Enjoy!

Children Are Not Oppressors
In an effort to STOP CRT an awesome opportunity presented itself to partner with the Colorado Republican Party to design this shirt.
Children are not oppressors and the ideals that CRT pushes on our children to be either oppressed or oppressors needs to stop.
I designed this shirt with the memory of a childhood song I learned at Sunday school. Red & yellow, black and white their all precious in HIS sight. Jesus loves the little children of the world!

Custom QR code & Landing page
QR codes are a great way to capture your audience taking them directly to your information.
I create a custom QR code connected to a hidden page on your website. This trick increases your website's traffic which in turn helps with analytics. This landing page is also customizable so the possibilities are endless!

Unique invite cards
For seven years God had me leading a group of young moms. We mentored and loved on and just did life with each other. In leading this group I found some of my best friends and processed so much of my healing and reclaimed my identity as a mother, something that was lost and broken from my own childhood trauma.
I LOVED pouring into these young women. Unfortunately, our group ended abruptly due to the Covid 19 shut down.
These cards were a fun design and were used to grow our group to the largest Young MOPS group in CO. I will never forget those years!

Non Campaign-y Website
Why would you pay someone to do something you can do.... well, because it takes up too much time if you are the candidate AND the Graphic Designer.
HAHA! You live and you learn and I learned that I will NEVER run for school board again but I don't mind making a website or two!

One highlight I will never forget was when Kim Monson was on the phone with me getting information for her endorsement list saying "Who did your website, it's BEAUTIFUL!" That was such a compliment and had me on cloud 9 for days!

Campaign Door Hangers
Campaign lit doesn't have to look like America just vomited all over the paper. Too often Republican literature and websites tend to look very clip-arty. It looks old and dated and just ugh not ok...

We have GOT to stop that. It's OK to pick campaign colors that are not just straight red white and blue. Have some fun and stand out from the crowd!

I had a fun time designing HD61's Colors and logo. After meeting with him he gave some direction and allowed me to take it from there and I love how it turned out!

Peacock Vanity Website
Not only is this my work but it's also my work! As. a hairstylist, makeup artist, and graphic designer I had a range of photos and designs to choose from to create from.
I made it my goal to have EVERY image on the website be my actual product, so every face and hairstyle was my work!
Peacock Vanity was the small business I lost to Covid 19. This was the business that sustained me as a single mom and was a great way to provide for my small family with a flexible schedule. I was so sad to lay this journey down but I am happily on to the next creative adventure!
Check out my old website.

Customized Buttons
How fun are buttons?

It's the easiest way to show your allegiance to an organization or candidate.
Best part - you can wear these buttons with any outfit.
I had such a fun time during the SOS primary election supporting my candidate Mike O'Donnell his wife and I designed some fun buttons and she made one to specifically say "I like Mike" like that pop culture phrase "I like Ike".
Let me tell you certain other candidates were not too fond of my allegiance but I had a fun time trolling around wearing my support!

Event Fliers
I design with my eyes and heart. Because of my background in event hair and airbrush makeup I have a unique understanding of layouts, balance, and color theory.
I am drawn to creating fliers that would draw me to the event. I love evoking emotions or feeling with my designs so not everything needs to be written in text but the art is effectively communicating as well!
